Altrimenti Markets is a cultural platform dedicated to promoting and celebrating Latin American culture in Australia. Through a range of initiatives, we create spaces that connect communities, support emerging creatives, and showcase the richness of Latin heritage. At the heart of it all is the Latin Makers Market, one of our most emblematic experiences, bringing together makers, artists, food, music and community in a vibrant and immersive setting

Since 2022, Altrimenti Markets has grown into a cultural movement, delivering more than 10 market editions along with initiatives that support art, foster networking, and create opportunities for connection and growth within the creative community. We have hosted events at iconic venues including Marrickville Town Hall, the Australian Museum alongside the Machu Picchu exhibition, and Carriageworks, where we transformed over 4,000 m² into a full-day cultural experience with more than 70 stands, live performances and an unforgettable atmosphere. Each project strengthens the connection between Latin American creators and Australia’s diverse, engaged audiences.

Beyond events, we support entrepreneurs with guidance, information and mentorship to help them take their first steps to start and grow in Australia, including permits, setup and how to present their work.
